1) What the app does
Plaplant helps users create and manage plant information and chat with an assistant for care guidance.
2) Data we process
- Account data: email address, authentication and session data.
- In-app content: plants, events, chat messages and responses.
- Technical data: request metadata, timestamps, operational logs, and IP in infrastructure logs.
- Photos selected in app can be used for plant profile experience.
3) How we use data
- Provide sign-in and app functionality.
- Store plants and events.
- Generate chat responses.
- Operate, secure and improve service reliability.
4) Data sharing
We share data only with providers required to operate the service:
- Supabase (authentication and data storage).
- OpenAI (chat processing).
- Cloud hosting and infrastructure providers for backend operations.
5) Ads and analytics
Plaplant currently does not use third-party advertising SDKs or marketing analytics SDKs.
6) Data retention
Data is retained while account and service are active and as needed for legal, security, and troubleshooting obligations.
7) Your rights
You can request access, correction or deletion of your data by writing to plaplantchat@gmail.com.
8) Account deletion
Users can delete their account directly in-app from Profile - Delete account.

9) Children
Plaplant is not specifically directed to children.
10) Security
Data is transmitted using encrypted transport in production and handled with reasonable safeguards.
11) Policy changes
We may update this policy and revise the date shown above.
